We are a charity run entirely by volunteers. Together we make up a friendly and helpful team dedicated to preserving the historical record and memories of St Ives, Carbis Bay, Lelant, Halsetown and Towednack.

We also enjoy social and fundraising events together, as well as training days like the one below, held recently at Tregenna Castle.

We would love to hear from you if you’re interested in volunteering with us. No previous experience necessary. Volunteers are encouraged to explore a range of subjects that interest them, and to develop their own areas of expertise. Retired archivists most welcome!

After a number of hours of volunteering under your belt, you will receive the excellent Cornish Heritage Volunteers Scheme card, which gives you free access to a number of Cornish sites including Falmouth Maritime Museum and various National Trust properties. So please go ahead and complete the form below. We look forward to hearing from you.
